Weather report
Forecasts become less reliable the further they look forward, but are generally reliable for the first 24 hours. Do check the forecast, and keep an eye on the weather as you walk. Avoid walking when there is a risk of thunderstorms. Great care is needed when walking in summer, due to the hot, dry conditions. Generally, it is more pleasant to walk in the cooler months. Check the UV index. Weather forecasts can be found at www.bom.gov.au.
