[aesop_content color=”#000000″ background=”#ffffff” columns=”1″ position=”none” imgrepeat=”no-repeat” floaterposition=”left” floaterdirection=”up”]This section of the Great North Walk leads along the Lyrebird Trail by the Wollombi Brook to reach a comfortable campsite. From the Cedar Brush Trackhead, it winds up through two gullies into the Olney State Forest. Once most of the height is gained, it follows a dirt road before dropping down into the Wollombi Brook Gully. From here, follow a narrow track through the gully to the Basin Campsite.
