Much of the walk is spent on ridges, with scattered views across the Berowra Creek Valley; there are especially good views from Naa Badu Lookout. The walk crosses a few moist, cool gullies and scrambles over a few rocky outcrops. There are some steep climbs and some pleasant strolls alongside of Berowra Creek. A short side-trip at the end of the walk crosses the creek on a ferry, where walkers can grab a well-deserved gelato at a café.
