Access points

Hi,
I have had a couple of people come in claiming that they cannot cross the Lane Cove River at East Ryde, near Magdala Park.

Do you know of any work being conducted in the area? One gentleman said it looks like a construction site, and he had to walk back up to Pittwater Rd to join the Walk again at Magdala Park.

If so, is it possible to have signs erected at Epping Rd, indicating the works, an alternate route and if possible a finishing date.

Does anyone know about the Special Permits Forestry say you need to have.
I will be walking from Congewei Communications Tower to Watagans Forest Motel.
Forestry says I need a special permit $110 + $4.40 per person.
Has anyone else encountered this ?
Appreciate some feedback.

Can someone please tell me where the location for the sign in book is on the Circular Quay to Thorleigh leg is. We seemed to have missed it. If we were to sign it out of order to the other legs we have completed, would we still get our certificates do you think?

Where does the August OxFam walk start & end -- anyone??
