You ask about maps in the book. These are really only sketch maps. For hiking you need proper maps and a GPS (see advice in book).
The book launch is on November 3 at 6 pm at the offices of Active Travel in Sydney (above Trek&Travel). This is at Level 1, 447 Kent Street, Sydney.
